Ayhan Yılmaz

Ayhan Yılmaz graduated top of his class in sculpture at Hacettepe University in Ankara in 1988 and completed his master's degree there in 1990; in 1994 he earned his doctorate in fine arts at Anadolu University. He went on to teach sculpture at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts.

His solo exhibitions have presented series such as "Pendulums", "Locks" and "Zippers". He has taken part in numerous international sculpture symposia; his works are held in the collections of the Turkish Ministry of Culture, Türkiye İş Bankası and the Hacettepe University Art Museum, and in public spaces across Turkey.
